A look ahead to 2022

Front porch in winter

2021 was an outstanding year for the housing market with the highest number of home sales in 15 years. Homeowners saw a market in which their properties sold quickly and frequently above the asking prices, as numerous home buyers fought for the winning bid.

Going into 2022, the lack of available inventory is still fueling the US housing market’s demand; and though affordability concerns continue, a strengthening job market is helping make homeownership more accessible to a wider number of prospective buyers. While mortgage rates continue to remain at record lows, with continued inflation comes the risk of expected rate increases by the Fed throughout 2022.

If you are thinking of buying a home in the New Year, now is the time to act…and if you have a home to sell, you can still get a great return on your investment!

So whether you are buying or selling…or both, you need someone on your side to help plan your next move. Call or text me now and let’s get this new year started out on the right path to your new home: (919) 291-5704
